The images were made just after midnight 19/20 December 2009. The yellow glow comes from falling snow but the brownish tinge is a result of digital camera auto settings. There was a lot of learning that night ahead for me alas!

Anyway the pictures are one of my bests due to the colors and the "chemistry" of the night. Nowhere I have seen similar photos on website galleries!

I have photographed Central Square after a snowfall but one of the picture was shot with sepia option selected just for the sake of testing it.

Exceptional weather it was, with the Sun shining through the altocumulus clouds and snow coming down in big chunks.

Do not tell me that no one is pleased seeing snowing conditions a few days before Christmas!

Early snow during the fall was unexpected but perhaps it portended snowy Christmas? Look for the answer in one of the next albums!

The following address will "carry" you to Mt. Babia Góra (verbatim: Hag Mountain, translated in Wikipedia as Old Wives' or Witches' Mountain) which is visible from Nowa Huta too (the distance from Cracow to the mountain is only 60 km).

Late spring verdure is in profusion and looks exquisitely, especially in the warm June morning.

The pictures show among others the "Nowa Huta Meadows" just behind the Center E estate housing (the pale blue flats) and then far away a southern parts of Cracow. When visibility is appropriate (no haze, dust, pollutants!) one can see Tatra Mountains (120 KM!) but he has to move his buttocks outside and go after the aforementioned blue building.

Plum glow during November evening contrasts extremely with Nowa Huta's Central Square street lights and the Moon. What's unique is the sky's colors and their hues. It was the first time I went outside with digital camera, ekhm, to shoots!

BTW. Addresses below show you how Nowa Huta and its Central Square where I live looks like and give you some insight and understanding into present and future photographs of mine.

Dirty, polluted and dusty air gives the brownish colors of many sunsets. The point is to catch the best mixture of the hues. This time I hunted for red Sun and with success. The spectacular Sun painted pink-red is available during winter times and during frosty weather so I have to wait a little.

Some of the pictures cover Heat and Power Plant EC Kraków SA. Perspective views of the plant you'll find on the plant's website (hyperlink's below). BTW. The pictures there are photoshopped what I very much dislike if not despised.

The orange (beige?) glow is impressive but with mamma clouds the whole local surroundings looked remarkable if not sort of "out of this world"!

An evening rainfall brought cute double rainbow over my precinct. Alas, due to my lack of skills and weak knowledge of my digital camera the photos were blurred. I've selected better ones but I was/am not very happy they are so bad. But the rainbow was "superb"! :)

Soon after the rainbow the sky was covered by mamma clouds (mammatus clouds). See the next album from the same day.

Most photographs I have made come from my flat's two windows looking over the Central Square in Nowa Huta in Cracow, Poland.

Hence the trees which makes the scenery a bit "crazy". They should, the municipal authorities, trim the trees a lot IMHO. Perhaps I should exchange my flat with that of my neighbors from the upper level. :-)

Sharp eyed should find two stacks in the background on today's pictures. They are part of Cracow's main heat and power plant EC Kraków S.A.. I will return to the CHP (Combined Heat and Power) Plant/Station in a future with photos which look interesting (in my eyes at least).

This is one of the first photographs I made. I see the errors now, but the flowers were so cute I decided to publish them here.

The shots were made from inside of my flat with Central Square in the background in June 2009. Hence the abundance of verdure on the photo.

The article to which you will be directed clicking the thumbnail is very similar to the one contained in CCP Description file and coded [Info: CCP DSC] in the Homepage box/line. It is here to test the ISD website concept. It will be removed later.
